Two Player
The very standard two player mode, setup controls for player two, and go head to head. Pretty standard fare for Fighting Games.
Naturally a few settings won't affect this mode like the AI difficulty setting, but you have a couple of other unique options that only works here, like the Player 1/2 Power, which can be used to give players handicaps.
It does not have any unique mechanics, and playing against another human requires different strategies than against the AI.
The games MultiPlayer is limited to some old-school connection methods (IPX, Serial Link, Modem, BBS) and started through the menu when starting the game, before getting into the game proper. It uses Two Player mode, and is identical save the connection stuff, and a couple of extra settings in the options.
