Just some basic stats, until I can get around to setup the rest.
Broad categories of armor into Light, Medium and Heavy. For simplicity each of these groups represent multiple armors that would fit the same general level of protection. But each is based on a specific historical armor from European Middle Ages.
Light armors are based on the Brigandine.
Generally consist of a Brigandine armor for the chest made of either leather or canvas, often times reinforced with metal in strategic spots. Usually used with metal plates or leather plates protecting legs, arms, shoulders, knees, gloves and a helmet.
Medium armors largely represents Mail armor.
Commonly a Hauberk of chain covering the upper body over a Gambeson, most of arms, and down over waist and the legs down to the knees. The rest can be covered with either Leather/Plate as above, or with similar in Chain.
Heavy armor mostly represent Plate Mail or Full Plate Armor.
Plate Mail: is put on top of a Gambeson and Mail, with a Cuirass covering the chest and back. Metal Plates covering other part of body like arms, glvoes, shoulders, legs and knees, as well as full helmet.
Full Plate Armor: is a full plate armor typically custom fit for a person. A Gambeson under, and metal plates covering every part of the body, with a few exceptions like arm pits typically protected by mail.
