@ Tuskon
A well thought out and written post, thank you. I agree on some of your points, but I guess there are some things about how SIN actually works that are unclear, that I should probably clarify:
—
SIN in general works closer to an extended friend list for people that like WvW Roaming and Fighting. We technically don't have an active/functional leadership, at least not the way most people imagine such. So it is quite hard to give a “unified response” because that would be all but impossible.
Rokuro is the owner of the guild, but he doesn't like actually deciding things for others, as he envisions the guild to be more free-form and democratic. So in general most of us just do what we like, and have our own separate opinions and speak for ourselves. And do things together because we want to, not because we plan or arrange things.
(In fact trying to organize SIN is a nightmare, a task I have several times described as “Herding Cats”.)
Most of our members seem to enjoy the way our guild works, and the freedom that comes with it. Most are also members of other WvW guilds, and turn to those for more organized play, while goofing around with us when Roaming etc.
I can't speak for everyone, but for a lot of SIN what keeps us on the server is Friendship. This is especially obvious with Owls, that we run with a lot of the time. Back when we where off to CD to try higher tiers for a while, we where discussing where to go once we where sick of CD. Different people wanted to go to different places etc, but in the end the majority wanted to go back to Kaineng because of our Friends and Owls.

On some of your points:
The idea of avoiding using the SIN tag when fighting against our own server probably didn't even strike most of us, simply because most of our own guild had fun hunting each others down. I agree it would have been a good idea to avoid this entire situation, and I'll relay this to the others in case they haven't read it yet.
I agree that the server need to work together if we want to actually improve and advance. And while I can agree and disagree with the severity of some of your views here, I do think that our members went a bit too far (my own opinion). And I agree that Rokuro handled this poorly afterwards, by trying to joke it off by being flippant.
Your point of SIN guild leadership, as I described above, we don't really have something like that. I understand that many might find this strange or even crazy. But SIN doesn't really try to restrict players, so everyone is free to do what they want, as long as you're having fun and aren't acting like a douche to each others.
Also since we have a large amount of PvP players, most are used to some scraps and yelling a bit at each others, and then everything is fine again. So we might have a higher tolerance for such things than others, and doesn't always think about that when dealing with others. I'll take that up with the guild as well, and suggest that people try to think about not everyone sees things the same way we do.
I am really sad to see King leave, while I didn't run much with him myself, always loved seeing him enter a map, could almost hear the trumpets play the Cavalry Charge. I thought King's original post was on the point and asking why things was as they where, unfortunately I think both Rokuro and King handled it badly after that. I can definitively say that SIN didn't want this to happen either, and at least the ones I've talked to are sad that King left as well.
Regarding being part of the Community site and Alliance, we're currently voting on this, since it is a guild decision. In order to give as many as possible the chance to vote, I'll inform once we're done voting.
I should probably mention that Owls leadership leaving the Forum was a big blow for us, since they're the ones we've organized with and helped out. We're frankly not organized enough to really be much of actual help in a structured WvW effort without Owls. The best we can reliably do atm is just running around at random roaming and general interruption.
I just really hope this doesn't turn into a Grudge between KS and SIN. I've always liked KS from what I've seen of you guys so far, and can't remember a single person I disliked from you guys. But I am getting quite tired of this entire Drama thing, and hope it will just end already.
