Otherwise it will fail. It will remove all diseases, parasites, and poisons from the target, and protect it from such for 12 hours if successful. This is an incantation that the young Lizardfolk Khaznad learned from his master Xakh'Ahb'El before he left his homeland on pilgrimage, and he was happy to teach it to others when he could, and wasn't attacked as a monster first. Xakh'Ahb'El used this to cure wounded dinosaurs from bone-rot and other diseases by using the Sun's fire to cleanse away impurities, but it will work on any disease and poison. The herbs must be mixed together into a acidic paste according to the recipe that must be smeared over the creature, Then the six gemstones must be placed in specific places, finally the caster starts chanting to the Sun. At the end of each of the six verses a beam of light will hit one of the gems and literally burn away impurities, after the sixth verse the entire body will be cleansed. This is an exhausting and painful ordeal for the both the target and caster, both becomes exhausted and suffers 2d6 fire damage. * Material Component: An urn with herbs from strange lands, and 6 gemstones worth 500 gp * Backlash: Caster and target is exhausted, 2d6 fire damage * Failure: The disease is not removed, and spreads to the caster as well. The caster makes saves etc as if hit by the same disease.
