-===== Open OMF2097 =====+===== OpenOMF (2097) =====

-==== File Formats ====+OpenOMF is a remake of a 1994 DOS game called OMF2097. OpenOMF is a from-scratch reimplementation of the original DOS engine, to which source is unavailable. It uses the original assets (now freeware) and is intended to be as close in compatibility to the original as possible. We have used a combination of dissassembly, memory inspection and good old fashioned trial and error to get this far. We support tournament saves, scoreboard files and REC files from the original. We also plan to support any fan-made tournaments for the original game.

-==== SubWiki: openomf ====+Mostly bug fixes, to be a "Beta release" where everything is supposed to work as it should.

-A note on the SubWiki and how to use it. The path to the OpenOMF start page is now: <nowiki>[[:openomf:start]]</nowiki>, but every page inside the subwiki can be refered to with no paths (meaning no use of : as that indicates hard path), like this: <nowiki>[[omf2097_file_formats]]</nowiki>.+----
 +=== Version 1.0 ===

--joneirik+When we run out of bugs to fix and the game feels close to the original.
